Thanks to everyone who visited our stall on Sunday!
The Ipswich Street Market we regularly attend was moved indoors to the Buttermarket Shopping Centre for public safety and to protect traders’ stock due to a forecast of high winds.
We got there an hour early due to being so busy making stock the day before we forgot about the clocks going back! Odd looks at me in my tricorn hat, with me standing outside with my market trolley, from puzzled security guards! Over 40 local trade stalls were quickly moved inside the shopping mall, setting up areas next to big retailers like TK Maxx and New Look. We had a lovely and busy day!
Lots of regular customers still found us, with a multitude of badges bought, sold, and traded, with orders placed and a list of design requests for our next stall in Ipswich town centre on the 29th of November. Most of the local traders and over half of our customers turned up in fancy dress! It was odd being indoors in such a big shopping centre, but we had a lot of fun! There were many laughs at my pirate costume! I managed to nip out to grab some coffee and wondered why I was getting odd looks in the queue, totally forgetting I was dressed up myself!
I will try and remember to take more photos next time!
I hope you all had a great weekend! Xx
