Some of our patches are iron-on.
Here are some handy hints you might consider, when you are attempting this
(at your own risk! x )
We recommend sewing the patch around the edge as well as ironing it on, if possible.
First, make sure the garment or item you are decorating can withstand the heat!
You cannot iron on patches to nylon or any other material that might scorch
from the applied heat, but …you can sew them on!
….please be careful, don’t burn yourself with the hot iron
and don’t forget to turn it off when you have finished with it!
…are you ready?
Step 1:
Set your iron at the hottest temperature setting.
DO NOT USE STEAM DURING APPLICATION!
Step 2:
Place your embroidered patch in the desired position and place a pressing cloth
(such as a handkerchief, sheet, or pillowcase fabric) over top.
Step 3:
Press the iron straight down for 35-45 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible.
NO BACK AND FORTH.
Step 4:
Turn the garment inside out and repeat steps 2 & 3.
Step 5:
Allow to cool down and enjoy your new patch.
Good Luck!
